OYABUN AUDIO was a project and return to the industry after several years' absence from a secretive legend of underground music - I.ALFA jnr. Back in the late 1990s and 00's Alfa was a big noise in underground electronica, releasing on conoisseurs' labels like Neue Heimat, Mosquito, R+S-Diatomic, Force Inc and his own Automatic and Semiautomatic imprints. Now after several life changing events, he is back with a new, more rhythmically diverse style and a label that promises to support and give artistic freedom to uncategorisable electronic musicians - starting with releases from Alfa himself under various increasingly daft aliase the project became entirely focused on his obsession with trackers, lofidelity and dismay at late 00s maximiser algorithms.. a subsidiary label OYABUN TRACKS focused on Techno was Managed by Jayne Tabb of Distract Air the fantastic back catalogue of some 120 tracks from the underrated European techno artists can still be found on most major streaming platforms.
